Every year, the Boy Scouts do a presentation to the Webelos who are going to "cross over" about the differences between Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Typically, the presentation is done in person at a Pack Meeting, but due to COVID, will be done virtually this year.
The presentation will discuss the major differences between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and will include pictures and short videos from several scouting activities. It will be given by a group of current scouts including the Senior Leadership Patrol, a first year boy scout who was in Pack 113 last year, and a college student who earned his eagle a few years ago, but continues to work with the scouts while he is away at school. While the scouts are giving the presentation, the Troop 89 Scoutmaster will be answering any question that is put into the chat. The presentation is geared for the Webelos Scouts, but parents are encouraged to be on the call as well. The meeting will be recorded made available to everyone afterwards.
