The Scout Oath teaches is that a Scout’s duty is to "Help Other People at All Times" .
This year Pack 113 will be participating in the BSA's Scouting for Food Project. It's a simple and easy way for the scouts to get involved and help those in need in their community.
This year we are going to try to participate in Scouting for Food, a council wide food drive before the holidays. See the 11/8 email from Elyse Zheng for a flyer that you can place in mailboxes to collect donations that we are giving to the Medfield Food Cupboard. This is a challenge by choice, and feel free to do what you can.
Logistics:
1. Distribute flyers by next weekend. I suggest putting in neighbors' mailboxes or discuss with family.
2. People are asked to leave donations by their mailbox or front door by 9am Sunday, 11/22, for a contactless pickup.
3. Pick up donations from those houses near you Sunday morning after 9am, 11/22 and deliver to Medfield Food Cupboard (496 Main St) between 11am and 12pm Nov 22.
Let Elyse Zheng know if you have any questions/concerns.
